Midrand Diski Challenge Soccer Tournament Rules

1. Team Eligibility:

- Each team must consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 18 players.

- Players must provide valid identification documents if required.

2. Tournament Format:

- The tournament will be played in knockout stages.

- Matches will be played in accordance with the duration specified by the organizers (typically 30 minutes per half).

3. Substitutions:

- Substitutions are allowed during stoppages in play and must be made at the designated substitution zones.

- Unlimited substitutions are permitted, but the outgoing player must leave the field before the incoming player can enter.

4. Playing Rules:

- All matches will be played in accordance with FIFA Laws of the Game, unless specified otherwise by the organizers.

- Referee decisions are final and binding; no protests regarding referee decisions will be entertained.

5. Disciplinary Rules:

- Any player receiving a red card will be automatically suspended from the next game.

- Accumulation of yellow cards may lead to suspension at the discretion of the tournament disciplinary committee.

6. Fair Play:

- The tournament promotes fair play and sportsmanship among all participants.

- Any form of misconduct, violence, or unsporting behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.

7. Equipment:

- All players must wear appropriate football attire, including jerseys, shorts, socks, shin guards, and cleats.

- Goalkeepers must wear distinguishable colors from their teammates and opponents.

8. Team Registration:

- All teams must register before the specified deadline and pay the registration fee as determined by the organizers.

- Incomplete or late registrations may not be accepted.

9. Prize Distribution:

- Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, runners-up, and individual awards for outstanding players (e.g., top scorer, best goalkeeper).

- Prize distribution will take place at the conclusion of the tournament.
